RevGadget (Greg Klapp) serves as Associate Pastor of Children & Families. With more than 32 years of experience in student ministry, Greg has spent nearly his entire vocational ministry investing in the next generation, and BBC is only his second ministry home. At Burkemont, he gives leadership to children’s and family discipleship, helps shape BBC Student Ministries (BBCstudents), and partners with parents through resources, and family discipleship tools. Known as “RevGadget” for his love of using technology, media, and creative tools in ministry, he develops Bible studies, training materials, and events for kids, teens, and adults alike. Beyond weekly programming, Greg has been instrumental in community outreach efforts such as Burke Changers, a youth-focused missions camp that mobilizes local students to serve Burke County through hands-on projects and gospel-centered ministry. He regularly plans and promotes church events, leads trainings for volunteers and leaders, and collaborates with area churches through the Catawba River Baptist Association to strengthen gospel work across the region. Greg’s heart is to see families equipped, students sent on mission, and Burkemont Baptist Church become one of the most relational, welcoming places in Morganton for people of all ages to KNOW, GROW, SOW, and GO for Christ.
Rev. Dr. Eddy Bunton serves as Associate Pastor of Students and Missions at Burkemont Baptist Church in Morganton, North Carolina, where he has ministered for many years and is widely known for his heart for students, families, and outreach. At BBC Students, he is described as leading Bible study and real community for students, and he is also connected with college-and-career ministry and student discipleship. Eddy has over 38 years in ministry and has served 25 years and counting at BBC, reflecting a long-term commitment to church leadership and student ministry. Eddy is also active in broader church and community efforts, including mission and devotion-related leadership, and is frequently referenced on social media as a trusted teacher, preacher, and mentor.
